Are made from expanded cocoons that are stretched over a frame.
Available in "bells" weighing approximately 15g each, with each bell consisting of about 20 to 25 individual caps.
These are great fun to dye and incorporate into felting projects such as vessels, hats, and bags.
It's also possible to spin directly from a bell to make a textured chunky yarn.
