Treetops has developed a unique range of superfine dyed merino tops they call Colour Nuances. These are a uniquely coloured, machine crafted range of wool tops that reflect the subtle shadings found in nature. Only the softest superfine (18.5 micron) merino wool top is chosen for dying with this distinct process. Special care has been taken to reduce any excessive processing of the wool so as to ensure a superb handle.

Colour Nuances have been custom designed with the needs of the creative feltmaker and textile artist in mind. Each colour within a palette has been thoughtfully chosen to harmonize. When felting with the Colour Nuances you will achieve a subtle "suede-like" effect. Some colours will have a greater nuanced effect than others - a wonderful change from the uniformity of standard commercially dyed wool tops!
